Clove's father turns abusive when her mother dies and when Cato finds out about that, he starts being even more protective of her, and their trainer, the famous Enobaria, finds out about Clove being abused and takes Clove in, and treats her like she is her daughter. I protected her even if she didn't know it was me. I love her. And I will do anything to save her because she saved me first. Clove: He's an arrogant, rich prick. I should hate him. But I don't. Instead, I feel drawn to him. I recognize him from somewhere, but I can't put my finger where I first saw him. He may be three years older than me, but I'm his biggest competition.
