Izzy is a 14 year old girl who was born with the power to create earthquakes. When she feels intense emotions like fear or anger she loses control of her powers. Her mother passed away during child birth, transfering her power to Izzy right before she passed. Izzy's father was devastated. As a result, her father mostly stays locked up in his office. Izzy finds it really hard to control her powers, and her dad is never there to help her. As far as she is concerned, he wants nothing to do with her. Izzy is an only child and she often gets lonely. When her dad finally starts dating again, he meets a girl named Amie. To Izzy's delight, Amie had a daughter named Annie. Amie was really nice but Annie ended up being a spoiled brat. Whenever Amie or Izzy's dad wasn't around, Annie would often hit and make fun of Izzy. Eventually her dad decides to marry Amie. Izzy is devastated. She was happy for her father and Amie, but never wanted to see Annie again. What would happen if Amie or Annie figured out about her powers, would Amie continue to be nice? Or would she side with her daughter? Would her father join them? Read "Disaster" to find out.

This is my first story, and I'm writing this mostly for fun, so don't get mad if it's not on par with all these gods of writing. Meet Angel, a girl just trying to get by in this living torture she calls a life. Being abused by her father, and living life in constant fear, she does her best to get by. What happenes when she tries to get away from all the hardship, but only ends up finding more? And maybe even finding someone that can save her from her own misserable life. Note from future self: This story is extremely cringy and only gets worse as it goes on. When I was writing it there was a whole bunch of other stuff going on so I was rushing away too much to actually get it done. Content warning: Contains graphic descriptions and extreme violence. Reader discretion is advised. Note from the future - This is very cringy now that I look back at it. I ended up rushing to finish it after like chapter 4 (which shows) so just warning the quality gets worse as it goes on T-T. So this is the first story I've written, so please go easy on me with criticisms because I'm kind of terrified about this. I'm probably going to end up changing the title at some point when I'm certain of how the story is going to go. And I'm awful at descriptions, but here goes xD Amy discovered that she had fiery powers at the age of 20, when she was in her first life threatening situation. Since then, she has been using them to fight crime in her city as the Ember. Then, a man saves her life, and she discovers that she isn't the only one struggling with powers. This book is is written in the far future were war is raging throughout the world permanently halting all innovations. Humanity wanting to finally bring it all to an end only finds one way to solve it. End humanity as we know it. Governments across the globe found that humanity wasn't what it was before and had become dark and terrible to live in, so to fix that they made a small utopia pulling in families, scientists, and important government officials to create the perfect pair of humans. Those two humans would be trained to kill what humanity has become and start it all over, so the world would be a better place. But once they make the female, they find that she is not like her partner. She has a different goal in mind than restarting humanity. This is my first book, so it may have a few mess ups but I hope you enjoy, I have worked hard to at least get this out.
