Lexi was a girl of many mysteries. No one quite knew what was going on inside her head at any given time. No one knew what she would do in any given situation. In short, no one knew her. That was just the way she liked it. She didn't want anyone to know. She didn't want anyone look to closely. She didn't want anyone to find out the reasons for her "suddenly" going mute, or the reasons she seemed to change everything about herself for no obvious reason.
Beth was a seemingly normal girl. From the outside, she had the perfect life, the perfect family, and as far as anyone was concerned she was living just the way she wanted. When things look that good on the outside, no one bothers to look any closer. Beth has built up a reputation for herself and she was unwilling to let anything compromise it. Beth was the resident bad ass of not only her school, but the whole town. No one questioned her, and that's exactly why she lived the way she did. Her life, her problems, were no one's damn business and she did everything in her power to keep anyone from wanting to know anything.
What will happen when these two worlds meant? When their paths suddenly become intertwined in a way neither of them saw coming? Will they cling to each other or will they fall apart? Will they survive the judgement? How about the straight up hate? Or even the rejections from the people who are supposed to love them? Will love win or will it be crushed?
