"Seriously Chris, get a grip!" I groaned. "No shit balls I'm making your parents get you a phone so we can call!" My best friend Chris argued.
"As if they're changing their mind. Don't worry Chris, I'll miss you. And if it makes you not miss me, I uh, stole your, favorite movie, umm, The Dark Knight..." "What the hell Tori?! Give it to me!" "No can do Chris. It's probably buried under piles of stuff by now."
"Victoria! Time to go!" Mom called. "Be there in maybe a minute! Or more... So I'll miss you man. Maybe I shouldn't can you 'man' yet, considering you haven't started... puberty..." "Oh shut up Tori! Anyways I'll miss you too."
With that, I climbed into my parents' car. As we drove away, Chris replied, "Tori, when you get back, I'll be done puberty!" "Well you would be 18! I'm staying there for 4 years! Bye Chris!"

"Bianca what the fuck was that?" David says to me as we walk inside his house. The whole car ride was silent, no one uttered a word and I don't know why. I hate silence. He just had this whole conversation planned out already. "What was what?" I reply sitting down on the couch. I sigh of relief that I finally got a chance to take off my heels. I knew my nonchalantness would piss him off. "Bianca stop fucking playing with me" David spat back. He's not the type to raise his voice during an argument. Chapter one be like : "I Sam Wilson promise not to do anything disrespectful or bad towards Thomas for the rest of my life as a child." So you just saw that idiot? ... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. I put on a show only for him in front of hundreds of people.
