"Oh look here, fresh meat." His deep, mesmerizing voice whispers with a smirk. He smells strongly of a man, and one of his arms is right by my head. My heart picks up as I look up at him. My hands grow clammy and my mouth dries. His other hand strokes my cheek, mockingly. "You should be fun. Claimed." The last word he says loud, with authority, as if everyone could understand the meaning behind it.

Janet Patterson is a relatively nice young girl. She's smart, quiet, not that awful looking. Then she gets an invitation to CHS, a very proud private school. She hated the idea of being surrounded by idiots, and now she wishes she could be back with them. For now, she is surrounded by mostly naughty students.
