"The last one standing goes free." Even as a child, Austin had never stayed in one place for very long, never had anywhere that felt like home. When he inherits a large, remote house from an aloof uncle, Austin is aware he could sell it and use the money to pay his other relatives' massive debts. Before he does that, though, he has plans; after a lifetime of sleeping in trailers, apartments and his own car, Austin wants to spend one night in an actual house. When he first arrives, the experience is everything he'd hoped it to be, but at midnight, everything changes; at midnight, two desperate men barge through his door, fleeing for their lives. Just outside the Colonial house lurks a demonic entity. This being, hungry for bloodsport, will allow one of the trapped men to leave...as long as he fights the others to the death...an offer that is unacceptable to Austin. His uncle's home now a fort under siege, Austin fights to outwit the creature and get everyone out alive, but his two 'guests' may not be as hesitant as he is to take human lives.

It wasn't supposed to be a rescue. It wasn't even supposed to be real. A drunken dare. A reckless chase. A twisted game. Harry and his friends entered the house with one thought-to take what wasn't theirs. But the moment they crossed the threshold, the game turned against them. The doors locked. The walls shifted. Their desires became chains, their laughter swallowed by silence. At first, they thought it was a man-a monster lurking in the dark, toying with them. But the deeper they went, the more the truth clawed at their sanity. The house was alive. And it wanted them to suffer. Time unraveled. Lust turned to regret. Hunger turned to madness. Their mistakes tightened like a noose, and soon, Harry found himself losing more than just his way. He was losing them. And the house was still watching. Because no one leaves until it is done with them. The House That Whispers
