Year 2256. U.S. Government shuts down leaving America to soon lose all population and slowly fade out of the world. Only thousands of survivors left living in the harsh conditions of being homeless, starved and wounded. Many survivors using this abandonment of government as a sign of hope, others a sign of despair. Over time no one will care of the Governments desertion anymore and soon only care of how to survive. While everyone's slowly dying away just how the government planned, only two people are trying to keep hope by remembering that the government left with a reason, and that reason is darker than imaginable. © Copyright 2014. Despite their believable facade, Jolin Martin has a hunch on their dishonesty and rather stringent behavior. In her generation, America is at war with the east, focusing most of their energy in the war, sending back livestreams of the war and chaos. The imagery has been sealed into her generation's mind; some move on and live in fear; others- like her- watch a scene of spectacular storytelling, with their origins being their own imagination, unfold in front of them. Like many others, Jolin's mind is filled with charging into battle, guns blazing, and coming out on top with strategic maneuvers. The time for foolishly imagining herself bigger is over. She's just turned fifteen, and facing the real world and all its stained glory is what she must learn to do instead. Still, she daydreams, bringing the concept of war and her naive view back to the forefront of her mind. In her blissful ignorance, obstacles pop up, threatening to damage her forever.Complete

The town of Hibbing, MN is under siege. But by an unlikely enemy. Genetically mutated humans, brought into the world by a mishap in the M.W.A.S (Mid West Association of Science), the science station within Hibbing's walls. An attempt to make a genetically modified human for military purposes, which would make them stronger, faster, more intelligent. But everything goes horribly wrong when there is a break in, and the 'perfect human formula' is unintentionally tested before it is ready. The result, is a nightmare of a human. A zombie. After killing all the scientists, it escapes into the city, throwing the large town in to full-blown apocalypse. It's up to 13 year old Hunter and his friends to save the town of Hibbing, and maybe bring things to the way they were. THIS STORY IS 3 YEARS OLD, AND IS UNDER RECONSTRUCTION! I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. Men. My brother was the same way. It's kinda funny how all, correction, most shifter men think alike. I would've thought he would be different, after all, he is Lycan. Something of myths. But then again, so are the supernatural. I turned away from him, not even looking at him. I didn't want to remember what he looked like so I didn't give him a second glance. I heard him move closer. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate.
