Year 2256. U.S. Government shuts down leaving America to soon lose all population and slowly fade out of the world. Only thousands of survivors left living in the harsh conditions of being homeless, starved and wounded. Many survivors using this abandonment of government as a sign of hope, others a sign of despair. Over time no one will care of the Governments desertion anymore and soon only care of how to survive. I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. I wanted to tell him I would be there for him, on the bad days too. I wanted to tell him he could call be at 3:46 in the morning and just complain, I'd completely understand.
