When you look at 5 Seconds Of Summer you think they're just your average rock band made up of 4 Australian guys in their 20's. But you could never be farther from the truth.
One cold winter night 6 years ago they were all frustrated they they weren't really getting anywhere with their music and they were getting desperate. Michael jokingly suggested, let's just sell our soul to the devil, seems to be the only way people make it these days. After a few to many drinks they decided to give it a try and summon the devil, thinking it was all fake. What started off as a joke turned into something very real. Now it's 2018 and they're stuck in the same terrible cycle, forced to do terrible things every day before their show or they would risk losing their career. They've been doing this for so long now that they've began to grow numb to it and it doesn't bother them anymore. Will they be this way forever, or will two unsuspecting girls jump into their lives bringing lots of problems and changes with them.

That's right band. We're not a big band, we just do covers to our favourite songs. I'm not going to brag or anything but our band is pretty cool, usually people are like 'girls don't play pop rock,' or 'that's just stupid.' 5 Seconds of Summer are a few shows away from the end of the Where We Are tour back in 2014. Next, they're going to be selling out concerts, playing in stadiums, and living their dreams even more than they are currently. But just because things are wonderful on the outside, doesn't mean things are scratch-free under the surface. Luke is battling a war against himself, though he would never admit to it. He thinks he's completely fine; he's not doing anything out of the ordinary. He's just improving himself. Cutting out junk food and adding in some exercise isn't harmful. But obsessing over weight, restricting food intake, being afraid to eat? That's a different story... But Luke is handling it. Luke is in control. At least, that what he thinks. The last thing Ashton ever wanted to do was hurt Luke, but he couldn't help it. The singer was just so beautiful, so ethereal and otherworldly that it took his breath away most of the time. Everyone felt that way about their best friend though, right? It was normal. No use getting unnecessary feelings involved, it was better this way. Luke understood. Luke wasn't sure when this thing between him and Ashton started, or how it started, but it didn't matter. He was in too deep to go back now. So Luke would let Ashton use him, hurt his feelings and crawl back with apologies.
