It was my turn to smirk. "I wanna make a bet."

His smile faltered. "A bet?"

"Yep. We're having a test tomorrow and you have to participate."

"What does that have to do with the bet?"

"If you don't get an A on the test," I paused. "You have to stay out of my life forever."

He chuckled. "That's easy. Alright but, if you lose," He stepped forward, making me have to look up to see his face. That infamous smirk was back on his face. "You have to be my pet, Kitten."

I snorted. "Like that will ever happen."

"Deal?" He stretched out his hand and I took it confidently.
