I needed an escape, but I couldn't do it alone. My best friend Kairi and I snagged tickets for the earliest one-way flight to Florida and bid adieu to Small Town, Wisconsin. The view was spectacular from the plane windows, but it paled in comparison to the people we met in Tampa.
