In a forgotten God forsaken world, no one bothers with change. People do as they wish and face no repercussions, unless they brake the rules. Ember feels like no one and to most she is exactly that but they do not realize the change she will soon create and the organized chaos that will soon follow.

Punishment depends on person, rules broken and its severity. Most common punishments are: Lashings, crucifixions, starvation, stoned to death, water torture, forced beastality till death, and torture in general. Escape clause: if the person being punished can miraculously outlive their death sentence then that person may be considered free.
