Emily wakes up in a gown. Not just any gown but a hospital one. She opens her eyes to a New World that she remembers nothing of yet knows a lot about. She is soon diagnosed with memory loss. Her friends seem very suspicious and everyone avoids answering her one simple question: How did she end up there? In seeking of her past, with the help of the only person who told her a version of the truth, Rebeca and her go on a journey filled with drama and shocking discoveries. What happens when someone very special shows up from Emily's past? He has the key to the ultimate truth about her situation yet as the search progresses things get too complicated and Emily becomes unsure if she wants to know what truly happened.

Complications reach a peak when Emily finds herself developing emotions for someone that is surrounded by danger and is himself bad.

There is, however, an underground world of others like her, a criminal empire working toward something she had been trying to stop. But with no knowledge of what the villainous plan was, who these criminals were, or how to properly use her powers, things seem grim. She knows she is the only one who can stop them, and the only backup she has is a man who claims to have been her friend from before the accident.
