After the madman, once known as The Governor, destroys the prison and their home, the entire group gets split up and separated. They are destined to find each other again. But hope takes a turn for the worst after days turn into weeks, and weeks turn into months. They all believe each other is gone.
Daryl Dixon is with Scozzafava (now seventeen) after the prison, teaching her how to survive and believing that everyone is dead, including Kendra.
But what happens when Daryl and Scozzafava have the most heated argument they have ever had? What happens when words they don't mean get emerged in their tongues and they spit them out into each others faces? And what happens when Scozzafava can't take it anymore and runs away from Daryl in the middle of the apocalypse?
Things are only going to get shitter from here. And things are only starting to scratch the surface...

I picked up every article of clothing as I heard the water streaming from behind the curtains. Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence.
