Reality Gone Wrong

Blake Brimstone is a homeless drunk with merry‑go‑round syndrome, a mind that spins through identities like a broken carousel. After a public meltdown, he declares himself a prophet for the handicapped and launches the Grand Exodus, a cross‑country movement of disabled followers seeking a better afterlife.

His childhood friend Shark Darkson - a paralyzed inventor desperate for a normal life - gets pulled into Blake's rising cult when the Quadriplegic Dozen, a team of paralyzed cyclists riding mind‑controlled bikes, join the cause.

Using a strange device called the Being Machine, Blake and Shark begin slipping into the minds and bodies of disabled strangers. Blindness. Deafness. Paralysis. Madness. Aging. Dying. Each transfer rewrites them.

As they travel across America on electric bikes and through the inner worlds of others, both men are forced to confront a truth they've spent their lives avoiding:
