"Where are you going?", he asked, sounding annoyed. "Somewhere I'm wanted", I snapped. "No you're not". Koda said, nonchalantly, "it's not safe. You're staying here". "Oh all of a sudden you care". I was becoming pissed off with him and his damn mood swings. He stepped closer to me, mere inches away from my face, where I felt his hot breath fanning against me. "Shut up", his voice was quiter than before. Our proximity was getting to my head. I needed to be able to think clearly, which I was unable to do with him so close. "Make me", I said, my voice barely above a whisper. *** Ashara Laine was abruptly pulled out of her every day life in Florida, when her parents announced they'd be moving to Germany. A blush started off in my cheeks making its way down to my neck. "Well . . . girls like me are smart," I speak up as a distraction from my traveling blush. "We don't fall for guys like you." "You're lying, Selene, and we both know it." He whispers seductively in my ear, sending chills down my spine. Yes, I'm lying. Of course I'm lying!
