Although, she was shy at school she was quit loud, crazy , and pretty sarcastic. She just thought that nobody at school was worth her time. Damien was your typical cocky jock. He had the girls, the 'followers', and he was the captain of the soccer team. Now, you're probably wondering how they both fit in to the story. Well, they used to date. It just didn't end well. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. Call me nosy but I just really can't help it! Apparently my best friend, a member of the basketball team, suddenly quits just to take care of her neighbor! I thought it was because of Cherry so it's not much an issue. She then shows up at school after a whole week with a guy on a wheelchair. She refuses to talk to her usual friends and even to me! I tried finding out why and it turns out that her neighbor lost a leg and his father's life in a bus accident and my bff believes that it was all her fault. Stupid of her, isn't it? No matter what I do or say she still believes that she was the one at fault. Being her friend, her BEST friend, I just accepted her beliefs and tried to befriend her neighbor. Now it's been two years and my dear friend is still with wheelchair guy. I often wonder why she's still with him but after taking note of their actions I got to conclude that my bff has a cute little crush on wheelchair guy... So I did something. "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at.
