A young man in a dark city is about to discover an entire hidden world consisting of all the creatures and beings once thought to be myth. This is the world of summoners; and Crowe is thrust into the very core of it as he is chosen by the long hidden Shadow Dragon and thus forced to be a guardian of the world. Together they must fight, grow, learn, and love in order to achieve full power to be ready for any challenge and to overcome the past. Unfortunately for them, however, the past sometimes has a hard time letting go...

This mysterious army, however, soon realizes that they stepped on the dragon's tail. This story is based off the anime/manga series, Gate, but follows a different storyline and characters.
