Jared shrugged. "Not many dragons can survive without flight." He stated, using his, matter-of-fact tone.

     "Oh yeah, and jumping to my DOOM is going to solve the problem." I spit sarcastically.

     "You asked me to teach you how to fly. This is how most learn." He reminded me. Unfortunately, It was true. This was the way almost everyone learned. All you have to do is jump and survival instincts kicked in, giving you the gift of flight. I was still skeptical though. Who can blame me?

As an avid- and fairly unsuccessful- writer of fantasy fiction, I know that dragons are pretty much the pinnacle of existence. I dare anyone to argue. So, when my mundane existence comes to an end and I am offered a choice of whatever race I liked upon reincarnating into a fantasy world, of course I chose dragon. Little did I know that my life as a dragon would take more than its fair share of twists and turns. But hey, I was a dragon... Everyone knows you don't mess with dragons. This is the next one to be added up on Royal Road in a couple days, once Broken's current chapters are done being added :)

This time, she ignores me. "F😠😠😠," I mutter, annoyedly. Then I raise my voice. "Is casting two lives down worth it or not?" "Orson, can't you be any more annoying?" She sighs. "Guess I can't, so give me some answers!" She rolls her eyes and brandishes a knife at me. "You act like that Kore girl. You know, the elf." I taunt her. Kore is disabled. "You act like you like her," she replies. I don't even like Kore! Kore must have been at least 40! "I don't!" "Lovebirds, lovebirds, flocking in a herd..." she mocks. "Is that even a nursery rhyme?" I deadpan. She shakes her head, sending her dark curls flying, and continues to chant, "lovebirds, lovebirds, your deception's so absurd..." F😠😠😠 her.

After it all happened, the Plague created what feels like a whole new world. Survivors created new lives for themselves and carried on with their lives. Me? I didn't get the chance to create a new life. Thanks to my absolutely wonderful father figure, I was forced to become an entirely different person. Thankfully I was able to escape his peachy influence and take some control of my new life. What I don't know is the Plague brought on after effects. Everything changed eleven years ago and only a few knew what actually happened after billions of people died. That all changes one-day though and I found my life completely flipped upside down. Like for instance, you gotta first travel the road of failure to reach the road of success, You really need to see the road of evil before finding the road of God. Moreover, you have to travel the road of death to actually travel the road to life. And some roads lead you to a never ending journey or I suppose, to a place from where there's no coming back. Some paths tell stories these paths may be the most or less travelled; and you see the road less travelled give you unending adventures, and you never know might be those roads were the once most travelled.
