Decimation

Decimation: Noun, the killing or destruction of a large proportion of a group or species.

What happens when the past generation decides they've made a mistake? They try and fix it. Like how a Tulip grows a new flower each year after dying, they've already got plans for the next generation. But that means they have to decimate the majority of this one.

Now take to Zia. She's always been smart, so much so that she had to stop skipping grades to be able to fit in. She's noticed the patterns.How everytime a schools students in the US start to speak up more, it all goes bad. Sometimes it feels like they just pick the nearest student and place the blame on them. And up until recently she thought she was just being paranoid. She thought it really was the students fault. But there was too many schools. Thousands had already been almost knocked out in the west and around 5 a day faced atleast 50 injuries.

So she took action. One day during one of her science teachers endless leactures she pulled out her laptop. And not just the crappy one the school gives you, but her Zia approved database.

And that is how in the middle of 3rd period she realized just how much danger she was in today.
