"You can't tell me there isn't something here worth risking everything for." [New Adult Apocalyptic Romance] Summary: There are some things that you can't outrun. That becomes all the more obvious when the world is ending, when there's nothing left but the feral creatures that were once people, consumed now by a virus that's made them cannibalistic and ravenous. It might just be easier to end it all, but Claire still has one last thing to fight for. Her younger sister. And she intends to keep her safe, no matter the cost. So, with no other options and her sister in tow, Claire ventures out into the dangers of this new, unforgiving world in search of safety, security, and answers to some long burning questions. The first two things -along with some new, unexpected questions- she finds in an unlikely place: a stranger who she's become indebted to. She has a feeling he can help her answer all her questions, if she can allow herself to fully trust him. Trust, she thinks, is a fragile thing. Humanity, a construct. Love, a weakness. The Final Hope.
A Nuclear Apocalyspe is usually the time full of death until one or two are left in order to recreate the world right? But what if after a Nuclear spill that spread not only it's toxic all over the country but two viruses that make the dead come back to life? Survivors around the country have divided into four districts. North, South, East and West. With one district becoming superior of course that is, yet what if that district is the only thing in order to save human kind? Many people have tried to make the journey in order to save their district, but none have prevailed. Until the major clean up in only two districts unlike the west and east, that have parrished away...the north and south district remain standing. Christina, a mother and once engaged, left her district in order to find a life for her and her son. Yet she finds the northern district, but finds out that the district that is most advance does have it's secrets. Meeting one man in the process, finding a family of her own and beginning the life she is left to, the final hope.

In a world where nothing is safe, when waking up the next day is the their reward, and what used to be known as modern day New York is now a wasteland crawling with creatures that kill anything that moves. Everyone will be tested and pushed to the limit. In their fight for their lives. Relationships will be formed and tested. Remains of Humanity
After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?Complete

All the while, terrible monsters plague the land, killing and devouring anyone who doesn't sleep with one eye and both ears open. The dead have invaded Earth, the social grid has been destroyed. Anarchy runs hand in hand with chaos and destruction. Thorne's town has been overrun, and she has been forced to go on a road trip that may never end. Along with her best friend, and other accumulated survivors their path has crossed with, they take a journey across the country to get away from the terror of the dead -- and the living. Warning: this is the old version (which you hopefully realized by the title). The new version is very much different, much more thought out and outlined. It hasn't been posted yet (still needs to be written and then lots of revising). I'd say enjoy this version while it's still posted... but honestly, it's rather rocky as I sort of jumped into the book without a plan, clear plot, or anything.
