The god took the child from it's crib, to which Fate let him. Cradling the child he kissed it's head, and instead of a beautiful baby, there was a beast. He then turned to look at Fate, "I bet that before she reaches womanhood, no one will kiss her."
A young girl is shunned by the town for her ugliness. Often called a monster and bullied she wonders if she should continue to live. That's when she meets a boy who protects her. She thinks, it's because he's blind.
