Sara Williams, Hana Minami, Alicia Denver, Nikki Connor and Erin West – can you guess their acronym? – are not as girly and gentle as their names give away. They are the Maroon Jackets. They are the equivalent of the FBI and your average pretty girls combined. Result? When you fall for them and their tricks, you fall hard. But this time… there's a little twist in the case.

The Jackets are supposed to track down Shane Walker, who they suspect is behind a recent murder. But with the lack of good leads, evidence and information (and willpower), something's clearly up. Is the government database actually flawed? Nevertheless, they're onto something.

And the twist: they might actually be… falling in love. With their suspects. And in the spy world, there's a saying: "Never have something you can't let go off, never live someplace you can't leave behind, and never. ever. use someone you can't keep."

This time, they may just be breaking that rule.

***** Emma Pear definitely wasn't the most popular girl in her high school she was far from it most people would call her a nerd she got good grades and always followed the rules. Her parents did everything they could to keep her out of trouble making her join many extra curricular activities such as learning violin, volunteering at the local animal shelter, tutoring elementary school kids. Emma never really experienced normal teenage activities drinking, smoking, partying or just hang out with friends she never really did any of those things she was just too busy. When the captain of the football team invites her to a school dance it was unexpected but she begged her parents to let her go for once, they actually let her go little did she know that one night would change everything. **** Blake Black was the high school loner he pretty much kept to himself. All the girls had a crush on him because he was mysterious and never talked to anyone. Most of time he would take care of his hyper little brother Alex because both of his parents were doctors his mom was a brain surgeon and his dad was a heart doctor. They were both always busy not having much time for they're growing boys. His parents basically forced him to go to the high school dance they wanted him to just act like a normal highschooler for a few hours but his plan was just the wait out the time at the dance till he was able to leave and at least be able to tell his parents he went. A lot of different girls came up to him wanting to dance but he turned his back on all of them he wasn't the dancing type. When he saw what happened to Emma he couldn't just sit back and watch like everyone else.

❝Maybe it's not just life that is like a chess game. Maybe love is too. Like how the king is always afraid losing his queen, and how the queen does everything in her power to save her king.❞ - Think of life as a chess game. There are the Kings and the Queens ; who serve as the rightful leaders. There are the Knights and the Bishops ; the hunters and the wise. And then there's Rayne Parker, a valuable pawn playing a game of live or die, being at the same time in no control of his own life. Being a pawn means not being in charge, means following the rules and obeying the moves of the 'player'. That was the ISAA. They were the 'players' in this injustice game of chess. They controlled Rayne's every move. If he made a bad move, someone else would suffer as a consequence of his actions. And he hated every second of being the cause of someone's death. In order to save himself, he would have to make a right move. The divine move that would allow him to checkmate ISAA and win. [completed ✓ || in the state of editing✗]
