They say that if you get rejected, you get stronger in your mental and emotional aspects. But that’s not entirely true for Aidan Salvador.
In the dreary village of Drayton, he is infamous and nicknamed ‘The Desperate One’. After all, being rejected one time is enough, but twelve? Charged by his ‘mistakes’, he enrols into a military academy to boost up his confidence and impress a girl or two.
Meanwhile, a family (an extremely rich one, I might add) moves into Drayton, clueless about the mischief caused by random neighbours. This rich family consists of a strict father with messed-up priorities, a fancy, elegant mom with a weird obsession of Boy’s Love, and two teenage girls with rampaging hormones, namely, Astarotte and Audrey. And the latter seems to be enrolled in a certain military school to prove her manliness. And it seems that Aidan is experiencing love at first sight. Will this be his destined ‘soulmate’, or his thirteenth rejection?
