Elisabeth is a fifteen year old vampire, who falls in love with the kind and handsome Julian as soon as she sees him. She goes on a quest to become human, so she can be with him - though it would not be forever. On this quest, however, she meets Gabriel, the mysterious and arrogant vampire who does not want her to return to the human world, but to stay with him - forever. He has also fallen in love with her, though she returns it with hate. Suddenly Elisabeth is forced to choose between human or vampire, love or hate, mystery or kindness, forward to finish her quest or back to accept Gabriel's bloody love. Which will she choose?
