Y/N is the spirit of the blue lion that was frozen for 10,000 years with Allura and Coran. She doesn't tell the new paladin's about her secret but she can still control the blue lion. She makes many great friends and enemies on the road to defeating Zarkon, and she may have fallen for a certain Paladin.
Based on Netflix and Dreamworks' Voltron.

Voltron: Rise of the Lion Defenders
For millennia, the Galra Empire has plagued the universe by destroying civilizations and enslaving various races. The only threat to the empire is the legendary "Defender of the Universe" Voltron, a 328-foot tall robot warrior composed of five lion robots, based on their own elements, whose pilots are known as Paladins. At the crux of the war that ended with the destruction of planet Altea, King Alfor separated Voltron to protect him from falling into the evil Galra King Zarkon's possession. King Alfor sent the Voltron Lions across the universe to different locations to hide them from Emperor Zarkon. Princess Allura, Alfor's royal adviser Coran, and the Altean Castle of Lions were hidden on planet Arus along with the Black Lion. In the present, the Galra Empire's path of conquest and search for Voltron has led them to Earth's solar system. A group of space pilots-Shiro, Keith, Lana, Pidge, and Hunk-discover the Blue Lion and immediately get swept up into the Galran War. They meet Princess Allura, become the new Paladins, and reunite the five Lions to form Voltron, beginning their fight to liberate the universe from the Galra Empire. Book Cover belongs to me. Agent Blue
Lance isn't what he seems, and years of training made him pretty good at hiding himself. That all goes down the drain when he and Pidge come across a base that's said to hold information about this side of the universe. Knowing exactly what that base was, he finds himself revealing all his secrets, including a secret agent group that resides on Earth. He now has to find a middle between his other life, and the life he created with the Paladins of Voltron. Earth and the entire universe rests on his shoulders, and he's worried about how it will all go down. Trigger warning for Gore and Violence. Damaged Beyond Repair
Lance knows that he's annoying. He knows that he's a flirt, and that his jokes are always terrible. That's why the kidnapping by the Galra fleet, didn't bother him all that much. His team would just be better off without him getting in the way of everything. He just slowed them down. The Galra need information. Every blow they shot at the paladins of Voltron, didn't seem to do much. The capture of the Blue Lion and its rider was what they needed to find out how to win against the pesky earthlings. With Keith stressing himself out over the wellbeing of his kidnapped friend, and Pidge looking all over for said friend, the paladins of Voltron are not on their best.
