Life is hard for all preteens, especially if your body is doing things you don't understand and cant control. But for this young girl, it is even harder when you don't know you are a girl. Then one day in the early fall, she says words she knew were right in her heart and everything begins to fall into place.

Max was very different -- but in a unique way. That much Justin could figure out. He just couldn't figure out what was different about her.
