After moving to New York City to attend a prestigious acting school, Elize suddenly finds herself in a roller coaster of her life, filled with VIP parties, theatre auditions, film projects and even more excitedly chance-meeting her irresistible crush far too often for it to be anything less than fate.

One of her friends becomes a French lingerie model and the other marries a millionaire, while Elize’s biggest success is a leading role in a young adult drama where she unfortunately has to die from an overdose in the first scene and the man she’s madly falling for seems simply unattainable. What will it take to achieve that one thing that more and more girls nowadays dream of - to become an A-list celebrity? And will Elize be able to pay the price?

While her journey to self discovery is slowly turning out to be a lot less about sex and a lot more about the city that tends to send both devastating and hilarious reality checks on a regular basis, the people she meets and the experiences she survives are bound to change Elize’s life forever, for there is nothing more self-rewarding than giving yourself at least one shot at something really BIG.

The Narwhals, de yeoboon_
12 capítulos Em andamento
Madeleine "Maddie" Harper never imagined her life would unfold like a slow migration. After years of rejection, restlessness, and suffocating expectations, her long-awaited acceptance to NYU finally cracks open a world she thought would never belong to her. With her best friend Nate heading to Columbia, both carry their own weights-the fear of change, the ghosts of home, and the pressure to prove that leaving was worth it. Like a narwhal breaking through the Arctic ice, Maddie emerges into the unfamiliar waters of New York City-cold, vast, and breathtaking. Narwhals are known as the "unicorns of the sea," elusive and resilient, navigating through extreme environments with quiet grace. Much like them, Maddie learns to survive in the shifting tides of adulthood, adapting to pressures she doesn't fully understand yet, following instinct when direction fails. In her new life, Maddie finds unexpected warmth in friendship-especially in Anastasia "Anne" Elizabeth-Collins, her roommate from the Upper East Side. Anne's world is one of privilege and poise, polished in all the ways Maddie's never been. They clash at first, as opposite as deep sea and sunlight, but soon discover that both are just trying to stay afloat in their own ways. Through alternating perspectives, the story explores how two young women-one learning to belong, the other learning to break free-navigate love, loss, ambition, and identity in a city that demands everything. Together, Maddie and Anne's worlds intertwine like currents beneath the surface-sometimes turbulent, sometimes still-each helping the other find strength in their differences. And like narwhals that travel in small, loyal pods through freezing seas, they remind us that survival isn't about conquering the storm. It's about finding who swims beside you when the ice begins to crack. ⭐️Updated every Saturday and Sunday ⭐️Don't forget to like, comment, share, and stay tuned for the next chapter!

"I need you to be the put together one because I'm so fucked up. You've saved me." He whispers. "Carter, we saved each other." I mutter looking at him through my eyelashes. I lean into him, our lips not even an inch apart. "Sophia we shouldn't..." He looks hesitant. "Please, I need you." I almost started crying. "Please." I mutter one more time, my eyes begging for him. My body needing him. Sophia Carrington. She just moved from New York to California in search of a new life. When her life took a dark turn she's forced to leave everything behind. She just wants to finish her final year of high school, numb to the world, while learning to cope with the trauma she's endured. Carter Marquez. Newly single after being dumped by his girlfriend of two years. After losing his dad in a car accident he's fallen apart. The list of people he trusts is short, he hates letting people in. He's constantly trying to make up for his mistakes of the past, trying to find a new purpose in life. When the two of them collided, they instantly took a mutual disliking to each other. Misunderstandings and a dash of alcohol set a flame between them. Sophia hates the snarky remarks and stupid nicknames that leave his mouth. Carter thinks Sophia is just another trust fund brat. Soon their rivalry begins to dissolve and they learn that sharing the pain of their past can form connections they never thought to be possible.
