Living in thousands of miles of ocean waters seems glamorous and beautiful, venturing underwater caverns and seeing all there is to see; but Kai would tell you that it's actually the most depressing and lonely life he could ever imagine living. Especially when you're deaf. That is, anyway, until he saw him. One of the most amazing two-legged creatures he'd ever seen on any shore he'd watched. A lifeguard, handsome and strong. A human. But Kai knew that he couldnt venture closer. Especially with being what he was. Merfolk dont mix with humans. Though, being outcasted...what harm could come of it?
