At this point, Sinbad and Judal had given up on finding their soulmates again.
Having already without knowing bumped into them a while ago and never knowing who it was they'd decided to just forget about even trying.
Judal was Sinbads last guess at a soulmate, given that they'd been enemies since meeting. So you could imagine the surprise on the man's face when Judal showed up on his doorstep one night; Beaten, shivering and spouting incomprehensible words before collapsing on the spot.
Anyone with common sense would have turned away somebody who hated them, but Sinbad felt a dull throbbing in his chest that told him he just couldn't bring himself to do that.
And then he noticed, the same patches of colour on Judals body as on his own...

Yours was quite diverse depending on how you or your soulmate were feeling, you could feel each others heartbeats when you touched the necklace or on more rare occasions you could hear each other's voices.
