Running from the government put Summer in a bad position. She didn't want to get married to some stranger. She didn't want to be his personal servant. She certainly didn't want to learn her place.

When sent to the Sector 9 Reeducation Center, Summer learns just what being a wife entails. In a world where men rule and women are seen as objects, Summer decides to rebel. She refuses to let them turn her into a brainwashed victim.
