Here We Go Again

Alexis and Wren used to be friends, but several arguments and rough patches led them to one big argument that ended it all on a rather bad note. The two girls moved on with their lives, and they think that's it for them. Until an old promise is pulled out from their past that, somehow, ends up with both girls on a cross-country road trip the summer before college.

Alexis Clemens has changed, as many people do over five years. She has gained maturity and self-confidence since she was friends with Wren, which was a time when she was very argumentative and bitter. Now, here she is on a road trip with a piece of her past, and she's worried it will bring out her old self, who she's not too keen on revisiting.

Wren Olden has had her fair share of struggles over the years, what with her mental health and personal life. And even though things weren't perfect five years ago, they were better. But Wren's not exactly thrilled about spending a week with Alexis after what she did. She's not sure if this road trip is one she wants to take.
