Mature
All throughout their childhoods James David (often referred to as JD) was constantly in trouble whether it was with his parents, friends, neighbors, or teachers. Jordan was not always perfect either but was never in nearly as much trouble as JD was; always there for him sticking up for him when he was in trouble or trying to help him with homework in the middle of class whenever he skipped it the night before. When they spent their entire childhood together and are now going to be sophomores in high school in all the same classes is it possible for childhood friends to just remain friends?

(fair warning this story is cheesy and stupid)

We were a team. A confidence team, gaining your trust and ripping you off for every penny we could squeeze out of you. Stealing millions between pickpocketing, elaborate schemes against the rich, and knocking off banks; we made it big. We were good, really good at what we did. This time we were too greedy. We couldn't pass up a 4 million dollar art con. Each couple would have walked away with 2 million dollars and we could have settled down and finally started the family we had talked about for years. But he disappeared......in the middle of the night, abandoning me. Until he returned with a bullet hole in his arm and desperation in his eyes. Begging me to help him one last time, but could I ever forgive him? Could I ever look past his betrayal of leaving me in Tennessee to fend for myself and fight off the cops myself? ●●●●●●●●●●●●●● "What were the first words you ever spoke to me?" He asked softly, his thumbs wiping away the wetness from my cheeks. "No." I choked out. "Don't! I don't want to say it." "You said...Hi, my name is Alexis and I just moved into my grandparent's house across the street. Can I play with you? And I knew the moment I laid eyes on you...." "You were 10 years old, you didn't know shit." I croaked. "I may have been 10, but I knew a beautiful girl when I saw one. And you blew the rest of the world out of the water. I may have saved you by leaving you in Tennessee, but at least you still had your grandparents. I had no one if I didn't have you."

Elijah Reed is my enemy, uh I mean neighbor. He gives a whole new meaning to the term "bad boy" and I would like nothing better than for him to leave me alone. The problem is that he basically declared war on me when he moved in next door. He stole my first kiss and vowed to steal all my other first times. Elijah's older brother, Uriah, had apologized for his rude behavior. I said it was alright. I would get my revenge. At least that's what I thought. ********* That was my first kiss. And he had stolen it. "What the hell, Elijah?" Uriah growled. "You need to watch your back because I swear, I will get you back for this," I said with my hands on my hips. "Don't tell me that was your first kiss, Vic," he said. I blushed hard and stuttered, "N-No, of course not." "Liar." **********
