Rowen Carter and his older brother are considered superheroes because of their abilities which they inherited from their parents. Their parents are no longer alive so he's always been raised by his brother who protects the city and lives with Rowen.

Rowen's brother is critically injured when he takes people out from a laboratory that a bomb went off inside and he is now in a poor state which he cannot help civilians. Rowen indulges in the reasons behind the bombing, discovering that the lab was processing chemicals to make an enhanced person.

The people responsible go by the last name Benson, and they are striking power sources such as government buildings and labs. Rowen makes it his job to take his brother's place as the anonymous protector of the city. Rowen is at school at the beginning of the second semester of grade 12 when he is paired up with a new girl that was transferred from homeschooling. Her name is June Benson, which draws suspicion to him. Just... Rowen has no idea what he's getting himself into.

Enigmatic: Sapphire City Supers

37 parts Complete

**A Wattpad Featured Story** Kenna Jones isn't a Superhero, and she wants to keep it that way. Though her brother, Sebastien, is a star member of the Sapphire City Super team, Kenna keeps her Super abilities to herself and far away from a celebrity lifestyle she finds selfish and disillusioning. For reasons she'd rather forget, she can't stand most Supers, and uses her mildly famous pen name as a kind of secret identity instead. One evening, fiercely independent Kenna meets the new guy, Enigma, in the most annoying circumstances, and finds him slowly chipping away at her prejudices. Then, with Villains on the loose, threatening to foist a great Evil (with a capital E) on Sapphire City and those she holds dear, Kenna has to ask herself one question: is it time for everything to change?
