This is a Maze Runner fanfic// my first book of The Series. Its a Newt fanfiction coz we all love those😁 I will try to post when i can but sometimes i get writers block, excuse the poor writing. Iris (you) is just an ordinary girl in an ordinary world. Or so she thought. Iris is Subject AX (will be needed further on in story). She's the first girl and takes an interest to Newt. She remembers more than the others, more than she wants to and she can't take back all The mistakes she's made. One of Them is helping WCKD. Just like Newt, WCKD took an interest in Iris and they began testing her to see if she was The one. The one they needed.
I don't own all of The characters. But i do own a bit of The story line. Most things i keep the same though.

Hi I wrote this fanfic first for myself but I thought why not share it on wattpad for those who want to read it as well? Basically it's a Newt fanfiction set in the Maze Runner Movie Franchise. In this fanfic, Newt and Cara are already in a relationship but their situation threatens to pull them apart. Will their love stand the trials brought about by a dying world? Short Summary Newt, Cara, and the rest of the group are rescued from the maze. Cara is given her memories back right before her, Newt and the group escape the WICKED facility. Her loyalty to her friends wavers but she soon realizes that she no longer wants to work for WICKED despite Teresa trying to convince her otherwise. They try to escape the grasp of WICKED as they make their way through the Scorch in search of the Right Arm. Cara struggles with personal issues and traumas that have been brought back along with her memories. Newt tries to hold her hand every step of the way. The usual starter pack of some character being the first girl in the glade and blah, blah, blah. Yeah..not what I'm gonna do. Let's start like this, trapped, hopeless, with no way out. That is the life in the glade. No one knows why they are there or how to get out. They try to keep each other in a state of sweet ignorance. Just to keep their sanity. But the ones that were there the longest they know. They know the hard truth that would cause other gladers to lose their minds. These few chosen ones became fearless. Warning: As my bio says I am not a native English speaker, I am from Slovakia and English is just my second language. And because Slovakia is some lost country in the middle of Europe I didn't yet get my hands on the Maze Runner books in English I only read them in Slovak and let me tell you that isn't as good...So I will be mainly basing this book on the movie, of course using some things from the books as well from time to time. Based on The Maze Runner. The field adaptation, though. I know that's not what book nerds like me will love, and I'm sorry to outrace you.
