This is a Maze Runner fanfic// my first book of The Series. Its a Newt fanfiction coz we all love those😁 I will try to post when i can but sometimes i get writers block, excuse the poor writing. Feedback will be apreciated. I hope u like this and if theres anything wrong just comment. If everything is good Then don't forget to vote. Thank you xx. I'll do an intro.
Iris (you) is just an ordinary girl in an ordinary world. Or so she thought. Iris is Subject AX (will be needed further on in story). She's the first girl and takes an interest to Newt. She remembers more than the others, more than she wants to and she can't take back all The mistakes she's made. One of Them is helping WCKD. Just like Newt, WCKD took an interest in Iris and they began testing her to see if she was The one. The one they needed.
I don't own all of The characters. But i do own a bit of The story line. Most things i keep the same though.

(Maze Runner Fan Fiction) {Book 1} {Completed} His eyes glistened with the ghost of his past, a past he didn't remember, if he did he didn't share. He held onto my arms like I would fall back into insane babbling again if he didn't. I felt so much safer when he was there, I know I was no safer then I was without him but with him there... I didn't feel so alone. He squeezed my upper arms tightly, like he was reassuring me of a pain he thought I was feeling. Or maybe he was reassuring himself. I couldn't tell. He dropped his eyes as he gathered a breath into his lungs, a ghostly silence suddenly taking over the Glade. "Everything here was bad... Until you came up through that box. But she's injured, forced to walk on the balls of her feet from a calf injury she is seen as almost a burden to the Gladers. But not to the sweet second in command, showing some sympathy they stuck together. Bark the glade dog entering Malaya's life soon after Minho, they were the perfect team. A living hope dwindled within the childish giggles they shared. Until the trials came. The burden title everyone painted on her head was surely removed. She could run. Alby was bound to make her a runner, but she didn't want to. A fear she didn't understand shook her away from the Maze. So in her effort to avoid Alby and her runner job she seeked refuge within Newts care... Only to fall for him more... But that was it... Falling for him was enough to blind her of fear, she needed to save him. Her world was taken over by her determination to save Newt and her friends, she pushed herself to be a runner. The usual starter pack of some character being the first girl in the glade and blah, blah, blah. Yeah..not what I'm gonna do. Let's start like this, trapped, hopeless, with no way out. That is the life in the glade. No one knows why they are there or how to get out. They try to keep each other in a state of sweet ignorance. Just to keep their sanity. But the ones that were there the longest they know. They know the hard truth that would cause other gladers to lose their minds. These few chosen ones became fearless. Warning: As my bio says I am not a native English speaker, I am from Slovakia and English is just my second language. And because Slovakia is some lost country in the middle of Europe I didn't yet get my hands on the Maze Runner books in English I only read them in Slovak and let me tell you that isn't as good...So I will be mainly basing this book on the movie, of course using some things from the books as well from time to time. You may remember Max from my "the 100" fanfic that went to the end of season two. Well, she's back. Of course, the character and her personality, not the backstory or anything. Based on The Maze Runner. The field adaptation, though. I know that's not what book nerds like me will love, and I'm sorry to outrace you. It's just that I'm not good at mysteries or precise details, so I would get a lot of it wrong anyway. But there may be a few references to the book?
