Silently the Senses Abandon Their Defenses (Larry Stylinson)
"You know, the answer to everything. You know all there is to know in the universe. Crunch the numbers. Tell me the answer. What's the point of love if it's just gonna disappear? And how is it worse to not love anybody? There has to be meaning to existence. Otherwise, the universe is just made of pain, and I don't like the thought of that, so tell me the answer." "If there were an answer I could give you to how the universe works, it wouldn't be special. It would just be machinery fulfilling its cosmic design. It would just be a big, dumb food processor. But since nothing seems to make sense, when you find something or someone that does, it's euphoria." -The Good Place Louis and Harry's love of music helps them find each other. Undiscovered
My name is Daniel Highlans and I am undiscovered. This is my story. It's nothing special, because I'm nothing special. Just a wallflower of a seventeen year old trying to make his way through the final year of high school. Now, by undiscovered I don't mean that my amazing talent is undiscovered (truth is, I don't even have an amazing talent). I'm just undiscovered, me, floating around in an endless sea of people waiting for the right one to come along and find me. Take the definition of discovered: to be found be someone unexpectedly or in the course of a search. That's what I want. I want to be discovered by someone.Complete
Keeping Secrets
Peyton has always been the girl who flies under the radar-ordinary, average, never one to stand out. But that all changes on her first day of college when she's struck by a football and knocked to the ground in front of the football team, and even worse-her over-the-top, dramatic mother. The one good thing to come from the humiliating event: she meets Max, the campus' charming and popular football star. Their unlikely friendship pulls her into a world she's never known, giving her all-access to exclusive parties and the popular crowd. But it also sparks jealousy and draws the kind of attention she never asked for. Things get even more complicated when Peyton falls for Beau, the irresistible guitarist of Trudge Lite, the up-and-coming band everyone's talking about. She knows he's the ultimate heartbreaker and tries to keep things casual. Caught between wanting what she shouldn't, navigating shifting friendships, and keeping secrets that grow heavier by the day, Peyton soon realizes that some lines aren't so easy to draw, let alone keep. Trying to balance it all, Peyton and Max keep up careful charades, not only from those around them but also from each other. Soon they'll learn that secrets have a way of unraveling, no matter how carefully they're guarded. Peyton will have to decide what and who she's willing to risk it all for.Complete
Condemned in Love
I now understand the art of death. How it pounces on you when you least expect it, striking the life out of your loved ones. The worst part is the aftermath, what remains left behind. I was only ten when my eyes were scraped of their innocence as I watched my parents die with my own eyes, and yet I felt nothing, nothing but a sheet of numbness deep within my heart. Yet the worst wasnt over yet, no, the worst hadnt even begun. Oh the dangers that come with knowing a certain mysterious, startling, blue eyed boy, while being tossed into the foreboding past of my parents death. Despite the fact, little did I know the truth comes out one way or another just as fate has a cruel way of revealing ones hidden agendas. They say encountering a death is just a part of growing up. I'm not sure that it helps, but everyone experiences it eventually, everyone is brought face to face with what a monstrous thing life is...I suppose it is the beginning of wisdom.Complete

**mature** "We accept the love we think we deserve." ― Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower "I would do anything for you, you know that right?" I ask her. "Harry, we can't." She pushes back slightly, as I lean down to place a kiss on her neck. "Hunter." "Does Hunter touch you like I do? Does he make you feel good?" My fingers inch lower down her stomach. Her whimper was the only thing I wanted to hear. "My brother doesn't make you feel the way I do, you know it."
