"Naruto!" Sasuke gasped. "Have you seen Sakura?" "That's..." Kakashi cut Naruto off with his hand, waving him down. "That's actually why we came here... actually." Kakashi said. "Until further notice; your mission that you were to go on is not happening." Sasuke just looked at Kakashi, he wasn't known for stopping a mission unless something terrible was happening. "What happened to my Fiance..." Sasuke murmured. He wanted to inch his hand to his sword. He wanted something physical to attack. His anger was smothered in fear. "What would you think Karin would want with Sakura...?" Kakashi murmured. Kairn? What did she have to do with any of this. "I... I honestly wouldn't know... I don't keep up with them anymore. Why?" "Because Sakura was reported to be knocked out in a red headed girls arms just this morning, they tried to catch up to her, but failed." Kakashi murmured, Naruto grabbed Sasuke's arms and pinned them to his sides. Everyone knew Sasuke was about to act irrationally. Sasuke was wordless, he didn't know what to do. His mind raced. They couldn't catch up to Karin? They couldn't save her? He knew there was something they weren't telling him. "What the fuck.... you told me she was safe in this damn village!" Sasuke yelled. He pulled against Naruto, trying to free himself. "You told me to trust you damn it!" "Naruto..." Kakashi murmured. "I'm sorry Sasuke..." He mumbled from behind him. The last thing Sasuke remembered was Naruto hitting the back of his neck. So I guess this is how Sakura felt... ------- Uchiha Burden is a spin off from Chidori Heart. I don't know what to feel towards him. My brain -my heart- gives me mixed feelings about him: every time our eyes lock, I feel warm inside. Every time we talk, I feel myself drown into feelings; nervousness, shyness. I'm not sure. And every time he casually walk into my mind, my stomach squeezes lightly with butterflies which I cannot justify. Yet, he makes me cry myself to sleep, he makes me overthink myself to sleep. Not that he said or did anything, it's the confusion that makes me ache. Sometimes even the butterflies and sparks hurt me, the thought of him tightens my chest with ache, as confusion crawls my skin. We're friends, but he shows mixed signals that confuses me. That's just one side of the story. The other side is suffering too, he's been in love with Evelyn ever since he laid eyes on her, but she just saw Zachary as a friend. What would you do if you had just 24 hours left to live? Julie had a Checklist. A checklist for all the things she wanted to do before she finally passed away and she had just one day to check everything on that list. Not too hard if you asked me, unless Jason Tyler was in the equation and she had to spend the rest of the day with him instead. *** "Good, first question, what's with the check list and countdown? I think I've found my bad luck charm, it's white shirts. I was dumb folded for a while as I looked down at myself and noticed how much my wet clothes were sticking to my skin and how clear my pink bra was through the wet shirt.
