Layla is 18 years old and is in her last year of high school. When she's studying in class, Jack, an annoying boy who just moved from the Netherlands, comes in. She hates him immediately.
When she has to show him around and had to tell him about school, he stays over for dinner and she promises to audition for the school play.
Jack and Layla both get the lead in the play, and there are a lot of romantic scenes.

"Is it still a no?" He asked, his voice was deep yet soft at the same time. "Hard and cold." "Oh, come on, Lou! Live a little. I can be your tour guide and show you around town. It'll be fun!"
