Alice Mariz's life was always perfectly planned. Everything happened at the appropriate time, without missing a single norm of the Marked's Council and her manual good behavior.
Everything changes when she meets Leonardo Zotarelli, a problematic young man who never lets anything for a further time.

Alice is afraid of what could happen if Leo discovers that she and her whole family are marked. For some, to be Marked is a blessing but for others it is a terrible malediction. As all human beings always abominated death, having the date of death encaved on the skin turns a Marked abominated too.
Alice doesn't imagine that she is not the only one to hide the truth.
When the truth appears they have not only to put up with the fear but also with the fury of Alice's father. He doesn't permit that is daughter gets involved with someone who is not exactly like his family.
Marked is an involving story, full of mystery and romance.
