Gavin Free is an Apprentice in a group of people called "The Hunters". His Mentor, Michael, is convinced that he's ready to become one of them and join their team, but the top dog Geoff thinks otherwise. One day, while out on his first Hunt alone, Gavin comes across a stranger with a strange addiction to roses.
