After fleeting for college in a hurry, Matt struggled with whether it was the right thing to do or not. He'd already been face to face with his professors, so there was surely no looking back now. But he did anyway, he was practically turning around in circles.

He was worried about that one peculiar boy.

Was he okay without him being there? Did he have a good day? Did he eat? Take his medication? How was he feeling at this exact moment?

It's too far a drive and way too expensive for a trip to the little town and back. The ginger is left conflicted, Matt could drop out regardless of the years of hard work or stay and stress over knowing the unknown. Was this feeling of nostalgia, this compassion for Tom - was this love?
