When Lily escaped from the hellhole her father locked her in, she started going a bit insane. Voices were speaking to her that no one else could hear, terrifying images would appear and disappear, and she felt so empty she might as well have left her soul back there. She refuses to speak to therapists, insisting she wasn't traumatised, and that she simply wanted to live the rest of her life normally. But when she starts getting bullied, and physically hurt by people she'd never even talked to, let alone managed to do something to deserve the hatefulness, she seeks refuge in her own mind, slipping into a new headspace every day, and losing the last bits of herself in all of the new personalities.
Join Lily on her journey through the darkest parts of her mind, as she tries to juggle with home life, school, bullies, threats from her father, and her own feelings about love, and happiness. All while trying to find her soul in her childhood memories that went up in smoke.
Lily, a five year old child loses her parents in a horrible accident.
Afterwords she is forced to live with her Grandmother who works all
the time and has no time for a child. Lily, not knowing what really
happened to her parents, and not understanding at all, she decides to
take things into her own hands. At first she killed animals because
she thought her parents were lonely where ever they were. After
trying to kill her own Grandmother she was sent to The House, an
insane asylum for kids. There she met seven other kids with
situations similar to her own. Will Lily get better and go live with
her family again or will she remain in a sense of denial enough that
her sanity is in jeopardy?
This story is told from Lily's point of view but it actually told by
another girl with her little comments every now and again.
