Violet Hopper, age 15 is taken away from her home in District 5 where only 2 people can win a blood-thirsty competition. It's name? The Gods' Game. The Gods' Game was a game created by the ancient Greeks and whoever died in this godly battle was sacrificed to the gods as an offering of peace and a long, stable empire. Of course, it was picked up by the Romans as well, but when their empire fell, the games were long forgotten. Until now, in present day America, where democracy is at it's all time low and people are turning to the gods of Greek and Roman mythology.

This is for all of my Facebook friends who want to go back and read my Hunger Games posts but don't want to go through the hassle of finding the original posts. For any newcomers, the premise is simple. A mysterious hooded figure abducts beings from different realities (in this case, Harry Potter and Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus characters) and forces them to compete in a battle royale similar to that of the Hunger Games. These posts were inspired by the results of simulated Hunger Games on https://brantsteele.net/hungergames/disclaimer.phpComplete
