Meet Yuki Kuran Cross.... Yuki, siya na nga ang tinatawag na tagapag-mana ng trono ng kanyang ama. Trono na halos kinasasabikan ng lahat. Ngunit may namumukod tangi na sobrang sabik sa trono.... At handa itong patayin ang tagapag-mana, para lang mukha ang trono. Sa takot ng mga mgulang ni Yuki, inilayo nila ang bata. Hinyaan lamang nila itong lumayo. At bago nila masigurong malayo na ang bata, ay sinigurado din nilang wala na ang mga alala nito.
Lumaki si Yuki sa kamay ng isang matandang nag ampon sakanya. Hindi siya nag-iisa.... kasama niya ang binatang nag ngangalang Zero Kiryu Levine, na nakasama niya simula pagka bata.
But, Yuki didn't know that she'll fell inlove with Zero. Kaya naman, tinulungan siya ng binata para makabalik sa nakaraan niya.... Nakaraang nagpa kilabot sakanya.

Kuran se marcho de la academia junto a yuki y sus seguidores, dejando atras a un cazador con el alma destrozada, dejandolo morir en el dolor que lo carcomia. Zero sentia como su vida se iva apagando, su corazon ya no podia soportar el dolor de ahverse enamoradp de la persona equivocada, de haverse enamorsod de un Kuran, pero no de Yuki como creia Cross o su maestro Yagari, sino de aquel a aquien considero su enemigo, de aquel que solo lo utilizo para proteger a su princesa, de aquel vampiro sangre pura, de Kuran Kaname. Yagari y Cross aunque no deseaban aceptaron que zero fuera a una mision de la asociacion esperando que de esa manera el cazador pudiera olvidar lo que sucedio con los Kuran, Zero se fue de la academia sin saber que durante esa mision su vida cambiaria debido a un vinculo que habia sido olvidado hace mucho tiempo, pero que logro mantenrse, un vinculo formado con la persona menos esperada y quien logro sanar el alma de aquel cazador.
