Sam and Chase barely know each other. They go to the same high school, but rarely socialize with one another. Chase is one of the preppy kids, always getting good grades, the perfect student. Sam is basically the opposite, she was expelled from her last two schools, which brought her to Powerlexa High.
But when something evil threatens everything they hold dear, Sam and Chase's true colors will show as they are forced to work together. Though this two people are different in basically everyway, one thing will force then to work together.They end up finding something they ties everything together and realizing that this story is way deeper than it may appear. Whether that is a curse or blessing is for you, the reader to decide.

It was part of the magic characteristics to be able to recognize the magic in others; you could say that everyone capable of yielding power was power sensible to their kin.
