My first ever g/t work. Inspired by Arrietty, although different plot. Contains sfw interactions only (minus some angst) (43,000~ words). Everything takes place in modern day, but in a fictional reality where little beings (borrowers) live in the walls and take things that humans don't need. They're incredibly timid creatures, but excellent survivors and very agile. They'd look 100% human if not for their ears, tails, and feet. Carter is the youngest in a family of four, resilient with a daredevil spirit. After a tragic turn of events he's left to fend for his own, and manages alright, until the unimaginable happens. Also Damian and Jon will be aged differently, now with only a one year difference between them. As with all my stories, if you have an idea and I particularly like it, I'll adapt and weave it into the story. Feel free to suggest things to me. I personally really like this ship and I am disappointed that they didn't have this dynamic continue and that they screwed with Jon so much. But I still have my own headcannon for all this and I don't read many recent DC comics anymore because of the lack of supersons (I know, petty, but I really freaking liked those two xD) I've always thought that Superboy and Robin were always destined to be friends... The Forest
Ernwood Forest is home to people living hidden from the prying eyes of humans; the Winged and their tribes. These people stand no taller than a few centimetres off the ground, meaning that things can sometimes get a little difficult... especially when humans are involved. But life isn't all bad. For the first time ever, Azure and the tribes have a human of their own protecting them from the sinister forces beyond the edge of the trees. As the months of winter roll in, nights are growing longer and snow has settled on the leafless branches. The forest is still. The only humans anyone expects to see are the few that know of the tiny people's existence. But the tribes are not alone in the forest anymore. The abductions begin. The past awakens. And a long forgotten shadow falls over the forest. Azure and the others once again find themselves having to fight to prevent their family from being ripped apart- only this time, things are different.
