When seventeen year-old Larice Schmidmann is discovered to have anorexia nervosa, she thinks life couldn't get any worse. Oh, she was so wrong. Meet Group B. A group of girls, each suffering from a different mental illness. These girls give each other names derived from their disorder, so Larice ends up adopting a new name, Ana, when with them. She quickly learns to trust these girls, because Ana realizes that they're all that she has. Together, they have to learn to trust, work together, and stay strong in order to survive the inhumane "sanctuary" in which they reside. What secrets will Ana discover about the sanctuay? Who are her real friends? And, most importantly, who will still be there in the end?
