This is the where it all began. Where they met. But it's also just the beginning. Ashton is a hockey player who defies the stereotype. Although he most certainly had the devastatingly rugged good looks, he is also hopeless romantic with a big heart and and even bigger destiny. Everything in his life was going smoothly, he had a girl he was madly in love with and hopeless devoted to even though they went to separate colleges and he had just begun his hockey career at Penn State University, following in the footsteps of his older brother and his farther before him. Everything was great until his best friend and the girl he was in love with ended their relationship because she had fallen in love with someone else. After the breakup everything took a turn for the worst. He sought revenge on the entire female population, fighting became a hobby of his, and not even his other best friend Pj could help him.

It wasn't until the day he met Tia that things began to change. Tia is regular ole girl from Massachusetts whose only goal was to get away from her hometown and make something of herself. Nothing special about her or so she thought. She was dead set focused on finishing her degree as quickly as she could with zero distractions. Then she would finally be free to chase her dreams with her parents blessing.
