Running wild

Kwan, the magnificent cream stallion of the Mirralee herd yearns for the ecstasy of running with abandonment through the Blue Mountains he calls home. However man is a constant danger, with capture being a unwavering threat hanging over a corner of their minds, and he will do anything to protect his herd. With winter just around the corner he can almost taste the freedom of which the snowfall brings; but what happens when he finds an unknown scent on their trail?

In a testament of his strength and courage Kwan chooses to protect his herd, leading man on a wild goose chase through his beloved mountains. His knowledge of his homeland has never failed him before, but man has become more cunning. Falling captive to a well hidden trap he is driven far away into lands he has never been before, will he ever see his herd again?
