Hey it's Izzy. I felt like writing this short story because I had a dream about someone and I didn't understand why. I wanted to talk to someone about it but I couldn't because I don't have many people I can talk to so I decided to write about it. The feeling I felt when I woke up after having this dream felt so real, in fact the dream I had felt more like a nightmare.

When I was born, I wasn't born with this "Red String" everyone apparently had. It seemed to connect people, to have people's hearts never broken. Well, I'm unlucky enough to not have a string. I thought I was normal. That's what I was always led to believe anyways. But then one day a portal opened up in my closet and someone yanked me onto the other side. Now I'm stuck in a different world where apparently magic exists and I'm one of the ten people who can use all forms of it. Crazy, right? A two weeks ago I was a depressed 14 year old kid from Texas. A collection of stories based of my dreams and nightmares. Recently I've been having vivid dreams and nightmares that seems recurring or just memorable. Either caused by my anxiety or troubles that I don't acknowledge. People always say that there's meaning behind dreams and I'm here to figure out what it means or just to share an interesting tale. Some people have wacky dreams but for some reason mine seems to be pretty creative and straight forward that's good enough to write a story for.
