***Dystopian/ Romance*** I live in a divided world-Humans vs. BioSwaps. BioSwaps were the government's creation, engineered behind the towering concrete walls of The Meds facility, hidden away from the public eye. For years, they remained locked away, but two years ago, something went wrong. Whatever was happening behind those walls spiraled out of control, and the BioSwaps found a way out. Now, they walk among us, seamlessly blending into society. We were raised to fear them-to believe they could be anywhere, anyone. They look just like us, indistinguishable from humans, which makes them even more dangerous. At least, that's what we've been taught. But I'm not afraid. The problem is, I can't admit that. Any hint of sympathy toward BioSwaps is considered treason, a direct threat to human safety. If I so much as suggest that they aren't the monsters we were told they are, I could be sent to The Quaren. And nobody comes out of The Quaren the same. {A/N: Thank you for wanting to read BioSwap. Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
